01

Context and problem

A website where people upload their photos, adjust them in a simple online editor and order them printed on canvas, as a poster or as classic photos for an album.

The goal was a site anyone can use, where the whole process is fast but still robust enough to offer all the edits people expect.

Key decisions

  1. 01

    Mobile first

    Problem
Ordering had to work just as well on a tram or while waiting for a train as it does at a desk.
    Decision
I designed the whole flow for the phone first, then scaled it up to larger screens.
    Why
If ordering works on a small screen with little time, it works everywhere.
  2. 02

Only the essentials in every step

    Problem
A full set of edits can easily overwhelm someone who just wants their photos printed.
    Decision
Every step shows only the essential information.
    Why
Nobody gets overwhelmed, and the process stays fast.
